The challenge to us is that although all of our programmes and best goals the problem is still enormous and, most annoyingly, still negatively affecting portions of RuneScape gold our sport. We're continuing to combat bots on all fronts. In a bid to be more open and transparent we wish to discuss a couple of steps and initiatives we are just about to release/have released recently: We've recently improved our internal processes to have the ability to spot spam from the conversation window and immediately mute the offender preventing the continuous stream of communication from the gold farmers which are impacting the sport experience. Your reports are extremely beneficial to us ! Continuing our ongoing legal cases against bot developers.
Mandatory email approval for new accounts will add extra account safety and impair the mass account creation that golden farmers utilize. There are several different initiatives and actions that we intend to implement over the next few months and we will discuss these with you as frequently and in much detail because we could. The most important of these is to come shortly. Also, we recognise that we have been the best at conveying what we are doing and that affects today. While we are winning small battles by spending substantial money and resources in attempting to fight this issue, the war is not going in our favour as we're trying hard to keep up with companies whose sole business 24 hours per day 7 days a week is to discover ways to get robots to the game. Because of this, one thing has gotten quite clear to us regardless of our continuing efforts.
We can't win this battle alone. We need your help. Just how can you help? To begin with, we'd love to hear from you in a more coordinated manner regarding your thoughts about how to combat the robots difficulty. We'll be developing surveys to help us know more about robots directly out of you... we would love to hear your response. We'd like to set up a unique forum where we could have targeted Q&A's and get formal comments from you about specific initiatives. We will let you know when this forum is setup and encourage you to join us.
We expect that you will engage with and encourage your friends to use any resources that we supply to you to assist us identify and prohibit the bots like the Spam Filter feature. And lastly, we'd request you to refrain from using bots or behind gold farmers. If there isn't a current market, then bots won't exist. As was so eloquently set in a recent post on Tip.it"Standing around Jagex [by expressing one's opinion on the botting issue], an individual might argue, demands a certain quantity of guts, but more is needed to endure to one's friends". The player went on to say"The community should stand up buy RS gold for itself by simply following the principles and shunning people who don't. Lacking clients, the sites that place the robots up will shut, and the sole botter will be the isolated real player. In the end, following the three pillars of the code of behavior that Jagex set up-"Honour,""Respect," and"Security" are a responsibility of the gamers and the community as far as they're of Jagex."
